JOINING THE BAND.

During 2011 we will be performing at both the Scottish Concert Band Festival & the National Concert Band Festival and we have vacancies in some sections of the band for additional players.

WHO PLAYS IN STEWARTON WINDS?

We have a membership of players from around Glasgow, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire and Lanarkshire.

Our players come from various professional backgrounds and range in age from 18 years upwards though the majority are 20-40 somethings (or so they say!!)

REHEARSALS.

We rehearse on Thursday evenings in Stewarton Academy KA3 5QF from 7:30-9:30pm.

Stewarton is an easy 25 minute drive from Glasgow via the M77 motorway and has a direct rail link from Glasgow.
